IX4200-9 Modular Multi-service Multiplexer - DACS

The IX4200-9 is a multiplexer DACS fully modular with 9 slots for network or tributaries of 2Mbps or n 64/56kbps. Modules include E1, T1, serial V35, X21, V24, Terminal server asynchronous RS232, voice (FXO/FXS, E&M or RON-TRON), Ethernet bridge/router and E1 Frame relay/ATM.

This equipment supports all modes of voice transportation: FXO to FXS , FXS to FXS (PLAR mode), FXS to E1-CAS or T1-CAS and E&M to E&M or E&M to E1-CAS/T1-CAS. The IX4200-9 supports the conversion from E1 to T1 with 64kbps to 56kbps as well as A law to µ law. The IX4200-9 can also be configured as a channel bank of up to 30 FXS for a 1E1 or T1.

The IX4200-9 is a non blocking DACS of 9 E1/T1 for 279 TS. Each interface can be configured either as network or user. Clocking for the system is generated from any E1 or serial interface or an internal source.

It can be used as a 4 G703 E1 interface converter to serial or Ethernet in clear channel or G704 framed mode.

The management of the IX4200-9 is provided by using a VT-100 terminal through the consol port or with a 2-line by 40-character LCD display with key pads on the front panel or finally through Ethernet, Telnet, and SNMP.

Remote management can also be facilitated through inband Management which flows over single TS from an incoming E1 or T1 in the device.

CXR offers two optional NMS/GUI systems; CXRview/Plus based on SNMPc or the CXR-INMS an Intelligent INMS for large networks.
